Extruded Tubes
"Soarnol®" is also used to package cosmetics. Its ability to prevent oxidation of the oils that are one of the components of cosmetics, and to preserve other aromatic components, has attracted a great deal of attention, expanding the use of "Soarnol®" as a barrier material. The "Soarnol®" product line shown below prevents the generation of decomposition gases better than conventional EVOH and suffers almost no yellowing even when affected by thermal history during formation. "Soarnol®" works in the background to ensure that cosmetic properties are not impaired, by helping to prevent foul odours from being produced by the decomposition of the resins themselves, maintaining the aesthetic performance needed for cosmetics.
